A Nibble from a Publisher

I have created sell sheets for each of my games. I email these to potential publishers in the hope that they will purchase my games. I usually receive polite refusals. However, The United States Playing Card Company did request a prototype of Whereabouts so they could "play test it internally."

I sent them the game. They play tested it. Then they sent me a polite refusal! Their words were..."we do not believe the game is a suitable fit for our target audience and portfolio at this time." Then they returned my game.

I was excited by this one little nibble! I was also excited that it was a reputable company that I had heard of before.
