A Pandemic Project

I used some of my alone time during the Covid19 Pandemic to create another board game. My original plan was to enter it in the latest contest on The Game Crafter website. However, the "factory" was closed down and I did not have my prototype back in time to take the action shots and get it published. So, I missed the contest opportunity, but I have another game in my queue.

The game is called Doodlespeak. It is another mint tin game. I like the mint tin option because it is compact and has a sturdy carrying case. In this game, there are two types of cards, Doodle and Speak. The game is played in teams. One team creates a drawing like the one on the Doodle Card, while the other team talks about the subject from the Speak Card. When the drawing is complete, the speaker stops talking. The Speak Card is then checked by both teams. Any of the words that were both on the Speak Card and in the speech are worth 1 point.

This game is similar to my previous game called Stack & Yak. You may remember that in that game instead of drawing, one team makes a stack of game pieces to match the card.

Doodlespeak, along with my other games, can be purchased from Thegamecrafter.com. I hope you will check it out.
