Another Contest

I am working on a game for another contest through thegamecrafter.com. It is a mint tin challenge. Contestants are asked to design a game that fits into a mint tin. Mint tin games are desirable because they are compact and therefore travel well. The game is supposed to be designed to play in twenty minutes or less.

The game that I am designing is called Hot Spell. It has 4 2-sided category cards and 50 letter cards. Players spell words using their cards that fit into the 8 categories. It also has 8 color coded plastic clips. If a player claims a category by spelling a word with their cards, then they get the clip that corresponds with that category's color. The player with the most clips after all categories have been claimed is the winner.

I have ordered my first draft. Once it arrives, I will make any necessary changes, then enter it in the contest. I will let you know how it goes!
