Maker Fair

Well, the Maker Fair came and went. My exhibit received lots of complements. My quilts and books were enjoyed by many children. Many adults referred to them as "a good idea", "cute", "creative", and many people took my card. However, I did not sell any of my Whereabouts Quilts & Books at the Maker Fair.

I was disappointed. However, I realized going in that my product cost more than the average Maker Fair product. I am hoping that the people that took my card will contact me later for a gift for the child on their list.

Overall, it was a lovely day. My husband and daughter joined me. I talked to lots of old friends. I made some new friends. The weather and location were perfect. I donated to a worthy cause with my entry fee. Better luck next time!
