This game exists because The Game Crafter posted a contest on their website and I decided to enter. The contest was called the Phase Shift Dimensions Challenge. I did not shift dimensions in any major way. I just made my game with objects to manipulate so the game was not flat on the table.

This game is called Stack & Yak. I think it is really fun. I am also learning how to defray some of the costs. This game is less expensive than the games that I designed previously.

The game is played in teams. One player Stacks while a player from the opposing team Yaks. There are both Stack Cards & Yak Cards. There are also 16 colorful game pieces. When the Stack is complete, the Yak is over.

The person who is making the Stack will make it according to the picture on the Stack card. The person who is doing the Yak will be given a subject from a Yak card. They will tell all they know about the topic while the opposing player makes the Stack. Then both teams will look at the YAK card. There are words listed under the subject. The Yak team gets one point for each of the words on the card that they used in their Yak.

This game is available from The Game Crafter.
